but first of all, what no one is bothering to mention (except me), is that the reason the cavemen are so great is because they are caught in a divergent parallel universe of the 80s. somewhere between FILA and Ellesse and Miami Vice. It's as if they have been evolving all the while unbeknowst to the rest of us, but they are still in many ways slightly behind or perhaps even eternally stuck in the 80s. Note in the airport commercial the squash racket. THAT is the best part of it all. The BEST part. In fact, there are little details in all of the ads which are as if the world is conjured up from a bygone era rather than from our present one. The therapist is from pre-Frasier for example. The newscasters are of a late 80s demeanour, nothing like the Anderson Cooper's and Shepard Smith's of today. I watch too much TV.
