Unrelated to anything:
There's a library here for the blind. I don't know why I just remembered this. But you'd love it, if it's still the way I remember it was when I first discovered it, back when I was in sixth grade and walking home from school. It's in an old Edwardian? Maybe Victorian? school building and, at least the way I remember it, there was nothing but books in Braille there (as opposed to now, when there are probably also computers and videos, dvds, etc.). Smelled like a library, except there were no lights on -- only the dim outside light through the tall old windows. And when you opened a book (which was very likely old) you felt like you were on another planet.
Not once did I ever see anybody in there, even though, as I recall, it was open nearly all the time.
I should go over there. But if it's changed -- modernized -- it will be depressing.
