Got a recent book of hers called Varieties of Disturbances because I saw a review of it in the New York Times or something and I'd heard it mentioned before. I was very excited because her microstories promised to be similar to some of what i do. so if her stuff was good it would either vindicate me or inspire me. I've read a little of it, and sadly it has done neither.
