I have been with this guy Tyler for a little over three months and I like he alot I think I might even love him but I can't get him to talk to me when there is something wrong or when something is bothering him. He is a triplet and i am really close with his brother Scott. I talk to Scott about Tyler and he talks to me about his girlfriend. Scott tells me Tyler really likes me, talks about me all the time and is sad when we dont see eachother but he doesnt talk to me about how he feels. How do i get him to talk to me. If anyone has any advice feel free to let me know. Thanks....Brittany

That name draws instant home ec cred and tends to ilicit a great deal of sympathy from just about anyone. Then find out what's behind brother #3. He may be better than Tyler anyway and save us all a lot of trouble. I mean haven't you ever wondered why he's never in the story? Why he's never around, not a part of the discussion. Could it be that maybe it's because he really is just 2 cool. Maybe he has his o w n Playstation. If not, then I suggest asking Monsieur Tyler why he won't talk to you when something is wrong. Have you tried--wait--how old are you--usually?

He has said some stuff to me about getting together or going out, but he isn't the one I want. I want Tyler. I love him and I am too chicken to ask him whats up. My little brother was with my older sister last night and they both know Tyler. My sister i guess called him and asked him what was up because i guess she could tell there was something wrong. My little brother told me my sister asked Tyler if he wanted to brake up with me and he said that wasnt it. I need to get up the nerve to make him talk to me about whats wrong. So thanks for your advice.

Cuz all girls do is lead a guy on, the guy before-hand really likes her, the only reason the girl likes the guy is because she likes feeling special since she is being liked more than a friend. And then, when the guy is really starting to like her (alot), she phones the guy and says " I just want to be friends". Girls never get hurt, cuz the girl never really liked the guy in the first place, she just liked the special attention. And the guy is just left with himself crying, and remembering all the times this had happened before. Thats why guys don't care about girls.

Guess what..... you should remove "girls" and insert "guys" and you'll have that just about right. Girls actually TRY in relationships, guys are in it mostly for the screw they think their entitled too just b/c they have a girl. I'm sick and tired of it. I recently started dating a guy who only talks about himself and could care less about my life. Its pretty obvious that he thinks that I'm only good for sex. Needless to say this thing is going to end soon. Why are all the guys out there like this? Why can they only focus on sex? It makes no sense to me.

Forcing someone to talk about something like their feelings isn't a good way to go about it. Many guys/men have trouble expressing their feelings. I know I do sometimes. Maybe he does not know what is going on inside him, some people have no insight into themselves. They need to take time to get to know why they feel a certain way. You should try and help him understand. A good way would be to bring up the subject with him, and if he feels he's up for it. Ask him questions, that will make him think. It may take him a while to figure it out. If it seems like he doesn't want to answer them or think about them at all. You should try telling him how frusterating it is for you, and how much it would matter to you. And such. Now since I don't really know this guy personally I am only theorizing on his physiological makeup. I may be wrong.

Guys will tend to live as if nothing changes without their permission. Another observation is that women will express themselves verbally while men through physical actions. If you combine the two you will get women trying to get men to talk to them while men only complying when they truly want to. A possible reason for women expressing themselves verbally and men physically is a way of thinking. Men tend to think more of a grand plan or think more in depth on subjects while the average woman would do more of a spur of the moment thing. Something that is a spur of the moment is talking. What you say at one point may seem the opposite of what you would say now. Men, still wanting to not change, will come up with something that shows how they love a woman without having the same regrettable after effect. Flowers, chocolates, a kiss, and even sex are universal constants that every man uses to express himself (yes there are those that look for a one night stand but lets not dwell on those).
